"How much is a little?": The big lie that is making our families sick

We live in times where illnesses are no longer a problem for older adults. Today, children suffer from fatty liver disease, insulin resistance, obesity, anxiety, and digestive problems. And although it may seem incredible, many of these ailments begin with a phrase as common as it is dangerous: "How much is a little?"
This expression has become a disguised excuse to justify consuming ultra-processed foods, full of sugars, refined flours, colorings, preservatives, and harmful fats. It's said lightly, without considering that that "little bit" repeated day after day is building a time bomb in our bodies.
Another phrase we often hear, especially in homes with children, is: “Poor thing, let him eat.” And with this apparent tenderness, they are given candy, soft drinks, sugary cereals, and junk food that poisons their bodies from an early age. It's urgent to be clear: this isn't tenderness, it's ignorance disguised as love.
The Health isn't a stroke of luck; it's a direct consequence of our daily decisions. What we eat, what we give our children, what we cook with, what we allow to enter our table and our mouths... EVERYTHING adds to or subtracts from our health.
And yes, it's also true that today's fruits and vegetables aren't as pristine as they once were. Many come with pesticides and chemicals or are grown in nutrient-poor soils. But a tomato with traces of chemicals will never be the same as an ultra-processed cookie full of additives, sugar, white flour, hydrogenated oils, and artificial flavorings.
We're not doomed to get sick, but we'll continue to get sick if we continue eating the way we do. And the most painful thing is that it's no longer just about fatigued adults or those with high cholesterol; we're now seeing children with type 2 diabetes, anxiety, gastritis, and autoimmune diseases. That's not normal. That's not progress. That's consequence.
Therefore, at Naturageo we want to leave a very clear message:
Eating healthy is not a fad, a luxury, or an option. It's the only way to regain and maintain health.
Choosing what we eat is an act of self-love, awareness, and responsibility.
Going back to basics, to what's natural, to what's cooked at home, with fresh ingredients, without labels and without additives, is the way to go.
It's not about perfection. It's about making conscious choices, reading labels, knowing what ingredients we're putting into our bodies, and, above all, stopping justifying our bad habits with phrases like "once a year won't hurt" or "it's just a treat."
Health is not lost in a day, but is built or destroyed with every bite.
