This juice is designed to combat free radicals thanks to its content of natural antioxidants from fruits and vegetables rich in bioactive compounds.

Ingredients:
1 pomegranate (rich in polyphenols and antioxidants)
1 cup of fresh blueberries (source of anthocyanins, potent antioxidants)
1 large orange (vitamin C, which protects cells from oxidative stress)
1 medium carrot (beta-carotene, a precursor of vitamin A)
1 teaspoon of grated ginger (anti-inflammatory and antioxidant)
1 teaspoon of grated fresh turmeric (curcumin, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory)
1 cup of fresh spinach (vitamins C, E, and carotenoids)
1 cup of filtered water or coconut water (hydrating and mineralizing)
Optional: 1 teaspoon of chia seeds or ground flaxseed (omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants)
How to Prepare:
Prepare the ingredients:
Extract the pomegranate seeds.
Wash the blueberries, spinach, and carrot thoroughly. Peel and chop the carrot into small pieces.
Grate the fresh ginger and turmeric.
Blending:
Place all the ingredients into a high-speed blender.
Add the cup of filtered water or coconut water to adjust the texture.
Straining (optional):
If you prefer a smoother consistency, you can strain the juice using a fine mesh sieve. However, for fiber retention, it’s best consumed unstrained.
Serving:
Serve immediately to prevent oxidation of the antioxidant compounds. You can add ice if you prefer it cold.
Benefits:
Pomegranate and blueberries: Polyphenols and anthocyanins neutralize free radicals.
Orange and carrot: Strengthen the immune system and promote cellular regeneration.
Ginger and turmeric: Reduce inflammation and combat oxidative stress.
Spinach: Provide a wide range of antioxidants and essential minerals.
This juice is ideal to consume in the morning or as a revitalizing refresher throughout the day.
Recommended Frequency and Quantity for the Antioxidant Juice:
Recommended Portion:
Daily Serving: 1 glass (300-350 ml). This amount provides an optimal dose of antioxidants and nutrients without excess calories or natural sugars.
Frequency:
Regular Use: Consume 3-4 times per week as part of a balanced diet. This ensures a consistent supply of antioxidants to combat free radicals and reduce oxidative stress.
In specific situations:
High stress levels: Consuming it daily for one or two weeks can be beneficial.
Prevention or immune reinforcement: Ideal during periods of greater exposure to infections (winter, seasonal changes).
Best Time to Consume:
In the morning: Drinking it on an empty stomach can maximize nutrient absorption, as the digestive system is more receptive.
Between meals: As an antioxidant snack that complements the daily diet without interfering with main meals.
Additional Note:
Although this juice is highly nutritious, the key is to combine it with a diet rich in varied foods to meet all nutritional needs. If consumed daily for prolonged periods, ensure it is balanced with a diet low in additional sugars.
